2) Split AC(Air conditioner split)

Split air conditioning systems are also commonly used due to their silent operations and elegance.
Air split conditioner differs from the rest of the conditioners since it does not require major installation. Both sides of the system are connected only by wires and tubing.

2. Extremely easy installation.
3. They can provide climate control.Modern split ac have climate/season buttons which makes the air conditioned area feel like the season you desire or you can manually adjust temperature, humidity, speed &air flow.
4. Wonderfully quiet operation.
5. Each room/area can have their own cooling units in which individual in different rooms can maintain their perfect climate.

  2. Installation: Installation should be done by a professional to satisfy warranty conditions and you might need to wait if you can"t find one.
  3. Noise: The exterior compressor of a split ac can be quite noisy which  can ruin the sleep of the person sleeping close it.
  4. Costly& hectic maintenance: You need to clean filters and get the exterior compressor cleaned by professional on a monthly basis.

3) Central AC

Central air conditioning (or central A/C) is a system in which air is cooled at a central location and distributed to and from rooms by one or more fans and air ducts. The work of the air conditioner compressor is what makes the whole process of air conditioning possible.

Advantages:

  • Cleaner Air: A central AC  uses filters to help improve the quality of your air. This helps eliminate pollen, dust and lint from the air.
  • Effective Circulation :Central ac is the most effective way to circulate cool air through your entire home.
  • Reduced Noise: Window units make much more noise than central air conditioners. In comparison, the central system is almost silent.
  • More Space: The central system is located outside of your house. This creates more space for you inside and keeps your house looking modern.
  • Easy to Use: From a single control panel, you can set the time and temperature at which you want the unit to operate .
  • Multiple Functions: There are units available that can double as a heating system. This allows you to both heat and cool your home with one simple unit.Central air conditioning units are becoming the standard. They are easy to use and keep your home looking updated.

Disadvantages:

  • Higher Energy bills: Pushing cooled air to every room of your home can increase your energy bill if you’re moving from no air conditioning at all to central air conditioning. If you think you only need a few rooms cooled, such as your bedroom and the living room, consider buying window air conditioning units.
  • Duct maintenance: Keeping your air clean will require frequent duct maintenance, as bacteria and mold can build up if you don’t and its a must to get it cleaned by a professional at least once a year.
  • Need for ductwork: This is what the decision comes down to: ductwork. If you don't have it already then  you should be ready for a good expense which will increase the value of your home in the long run or switch to some other type of AC.
